Added Color is a 3 piece alternative rock band based in Brooklyn, NY. Born out of the violent, chaotic yet equally beautiful Sao Paulo, Brazil, brothers Daniel and Kiko grew up absorbing Brazil’s unique rhythmic and musical richness. They brought these influences to Brooklyn, NY, where they met Tim to create the hard hitting, emotional rollercoaster that is Added Color.
Since their 2020 EP (produced at Gojira’s Silver Cord Studio), Added Color has played sold out shows across the east coast of the USA and achieved over 2 million streams online, sold 1500 physical albums in the last 6 months with a projected 3,000 for 2024; all as an independent band. They have played in over 30 US states, toured internationally in Morocco (6 times), Canada and Brazil, playing some of Brazil’s biggest music festivals alongside bands like Muse, Suicidal Tendencies, and Soulfly. The band also headlined Morocco’s L’Boulevard Festival for 10,000 people, and were recently handpicked by Joe Duplantier of Gojira to be produced by him for his Silver Cord Sessions.
The band shines with their 3 singers, who together create rich harmonic landscapes, backed by a powerful rhythm section that draws from industrial rock/metal, electronic, new wave and their Brazilian roots.
Renowned music industry professional and celebrity vocal coach Melissa Cross said Added Color is, “bringing a bright light only a few artists possess”, and Red Bull music described them as “An experimental kind of rock with exquisite and impeccable arrangement”.
Added Color is Daniel Freiberg (Drums/Vocals), Kiko Freiberg (Guitar/Vocals/Piano/Percussion), and Tim Haggerty (Guitar/Vocals/Bass).
